Recently the grades 2-7 had a visit from author Kung Jaadee. Kung’s presence as an Indigenous author and role model was a true gift. Her Raven storytelling demonstrated the strength, openness, and beauty of Indigenous culture, and the connections to the creation story provided overlap between Indigenous and Catholic worldviews that can be highlighted and celebrated.
