Welcome Back to School!

PRINCIPAL’S MESSAGE:

Dear Families of St. Joseph’s,

Welcome Back and thank you for all your support and cooperation ensuring a smooth start to our new school year! All staff have worked diligently over these weeks to create a welcoming environment, helping each child settle in and feel at ease. We had a mini assembly on Thursday where we received a special blessing from Fr. Alfie and learned how PENCILS can teach us something. Yes, we can learn a lot not just with but from our pencils! Like a pencil we all need to place ourselves into our teacher’s hands to learn. A spirit of trust and openness is the key to learning. Mistakes will happen but the “pencil erasers” of problem solving and forgiveness fixes things. A pencil’s inside is more important than its outside, as is ours. Furthermore, to be our best version we all need to be sharpened occasionally by discipline, guidance and love here at school and in our families. This year let’s trust that God wants to write something special with our lives.

Help us Author of All, to be better pencils for You.

This year promises to be a good and blessed one.

With Gratitude,
Glen Palahicky
Principal, St. Joseph’s Elementary
