The grade one classes performed at the Greater Victoria Performing Arts Festival on Thursday, April 24.
They performed the poems Going to Bed by Marchette Chute and Bear in There by Shel Silverstein. They
were praised by the adjudicator for their expressive actions and ability to focus on the audience. Well
done, Grade Ones! Afterwards both classes enjoyed a trip to sunny Willow beach and an ice cream treat.
