On Friday, November 15th the grade six students were introduced to a pair of special visitors. Jennifer Fletcher and her dog Ailish came to speak about living with a disability and the journey of certifying Ailish as a service dog. This visit was inspired by a true story told through the book “Rescue and Jessica: A Life-Changing Friendship” by Jessica Kensky and Patrick Downes, which Mrs. Hemmings had read to the students the week prior.
